Cant gift wrap? No problem!
Its holiday season, and i cant gift wrap at all. Ive just never (like most men) mastered the art of it. If i have to gift wrap something ill take it to Kates Paperie in NYC and pay them to do it. Cold winter nights...
I was shocked that i found this at west elm as i really never go in there, but when i saw these comfy cable knit blankets to toss on the couch i couldnt resist! Theyre great and so not expensive. Whats better than snuggling on a couch on a cold, grey winter day (even better with the blanket and someone else snuggling with you!)

No fireplace? No problem!!
I really miss my fireplace (and the fire pit i had) in LA. The one thing about NYC is that [most of us] dont have fireplaces here.
The cover of this DVD doesnt really do justice to the number of fireplaces you have to choose from. They have old crackling-type fires and super modern ones as well (my personal favorite). Now, when i have people over to my loft for drinks we can sit by the fire right in my fireplace-less living room! My friend Helen falls asleep to hers at night in the winter to go to bed, too, which i think is a great idea.
