My great friend Serena introduced me to Groove Gurus today and i am completely obsessed. Groove Gurus was founded literallty by gurus in the music business. The team is comprised of dj's, music managers, former label professionals etc. How it works is simple: you identify what types of music you would like for certain aspects of your life (dinner parties, happy hour at-my-place, getting ready to go out, etc.) and Groove Gurus creates various playlists that match your lifestyle. They even pick up your ipod and have it back to you the next day - fully loaded!
3 hours of music runs at approx $300 and this is available in NY & LA
So now, whether im going to Bali on vacation or throwing a party at my place, ill always have just the right selection of music.
